The Angel Emeralds are 9.9ct of scintillating Vivid Green Zambian Emeralds.

Many Emeralds may have a nice rich, alluring color that draws you in but the color Vivid Green is an exclusive and rare category only reserved for Emeralds that express the highest degree of saturation and Vivid brightness.

The pendant features a 5.37ct tear-drop pendant dangling from pure white marquise diamonds delicately shaped like angel feathers. The pendant is complemented by matching 4.54ct Emerald earrings.

The setting is handmade in 18ct gold with a delicately matched gold chain.

The day the Emerald set was acquired from our global trade network was the same day our client discovered her IVF was successful. At first, the design looked like leaves but after discovering this incredible news the jewels were named The Angel Emeralds to signify the divine timing of the acquisition.

Undeterred by the challenge, our gem experts commenced a meticulous two-month quest. We navigated through various trader offerings, rejecting mismatched sets and substandard pieces, ensuring no compromise on any of the desired aspects.

Finally, our perseverance led to the selection of an exceptional emerald set that fulfilled our stringent criteria and the client’s preferences. The achievement not only symbolizes Vivid Jewels’ commitment to quality and detail but also illustrates our ability to deliver unique aesthetic value within a customer’s budget. Acquiring a standout gemstone is intricate, but finding matching emeralds – in color, shape, and clarity – for a set is even more complex. Our task was heightened by a client’s distinctive request for a harmonious ensemble, including a 5ct+ pendant and 2ct+ earrings, all within a specific budget. Notably, gemstone prices often escalate significantly as they increase in size, especially when they exceed 5ct, adding another layer to our task.

3. Selected Gemstones

Following our rigorous rejection process, we successfully identified a set of emeralds that checked every box on the client’s list. The emeralds radiated a stunning, unadulterated green hue that was simply mesmerizing. After securing a satisfactory price through careful negotiation, we sent the gems for a thorough certification process, ensuring their authenticity and quality before finalizing the transaction.

4. Lab Certification

Navigating to the certification phase, we revelled in the satisfaction of having secured a set of exquisite emeralds at a commendable price. The thrill escalated when the certification acknowledged the emeralds’ colour as “Vivid Green” – a rare, exclusive category bestowed only upon emeralds expressing the highest degree of saturation and dazzling brightness.

While the negotiation for these jewels had already concluded, this coveted certification further elevated their value by 15-20%. The client’s elation echoed our own, knowing they had secured an exceptional set of gems that now far exceeded expectations.

Upon receiving the initial 40% payment as per our Gem Hunting Phase agreement, the emeralds were securely transported to our jeweller. Now, these vivid green emeralds were ready to transition into the design phase, setting the stage for the creation of some truly spectacular pieces.

5. Design

With the exhilaration of the Gem Hunting phase behind us, we transitioned into the equally exciting Design phase. This stage is all about bringing the client’s inspiration to life through creativity and craftsmanship.

The client provided initial ideas but was also receptive to our input. After a comprehensive search for inspiration, we found an enchanting design of teardrop emeralds gracefully suspended from exquisite diamonds. Upon presenting this design to the client, it was met with instant approval.

Having established a clear vision, we passed the inspiration onto our skilled jewellery designers. Leveraging the precision of Computer-Aided Design (CAD), they began the process of transforming the chosen concept into a tangible, three-dimensional design, setting the stage for the creation of a truly unique piece.

6. Refinement

We further refined the design by exploring both yellow and white gold options, eventually selecting gold because it best highlighted the vivid green emeralds. Additionally, we opted for a robust yet elegant V-prong setting at the top of the teardrops, ensuring the emeralds were secure while enhancing their visibility.

Given the breathtaking allure of the Vivid Green emeralds, it was crucial that they were complemented by the finest diamonds. To remain within the budget, we made the strategic decision to reduce the size of the diamonds rather than compromising on their quality. Consequently, we could incorporate pure white, E-colour marquees diamonds, delivering a harmonious balance of size, quality, and cost for this unique set.

7. Quality Control

In the Quality Control phase, meticulous attention to detail was paramount. Though our standard procedure involves casting the jewelry from the CAD design and finishing it by hand, for “The Angel Emeralds”, we chose to craft the entire set by hand. This decision was driven by our aspiration to attain the pinnacle of perfection.

One of the unique features that mandated this approach was the chain loop for the pendant. Our vision was to create a seamless and graceful hanging position for the pendant. By concealing the chain loop behind the marquise diamonds, we ensured a more elegant and polished appearance. The loop was carefully remade, ensuring that the pendant sat regally, complementing the wearer’s grace.
