Over $1M in Rare Jewels: Argyle Pink Diamonds and More
Some jewels are so rare that most people never see one in person. Ronny from RR Diamonds showed us over a million dollars’ worth of them.
Two Argyle Pink Diamonds
The stars were two Argyle pink diamonds, each worth over $350,000.
The Argyle mine in Western Australia produced more than 90% of the world’s pink diamonds. Mining there stopped on 3 November 2020, after 37 years, so no new Argyle pinks are coming out of the ground.
A 15 Carat Asscher Cut Diamond
Ronny also showed us a 15 carat Asscher cut, with a row of diamonds set on the inside of the band.
A Vivid Green Australian Emerald
And a rare emerald from Australia, in a vivid green.
